  • Those with small children - be careful with the balcony railings. Although the horizontal width between railing is within specs, an independent home inspector noted that the floor to start of railing is a larger gap than standard, and may be a hazard for small children. --MikeSchroll 19:37, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Has anyone else noticed unlevel floors? Floor in my dining room is unlevel by over 1 inch height every 18 inches of length, going north to south. --MikeSchroll 19:37, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Getting packages delivered while you're out -- I had a discussion with the UPS delivery man, who recommended that we purchase a lock with keypad, so all delivery companies can be told the combination, to get into the room to leave packages. This seems like a great idea, and can be accomplished relatively inexpensively - $100. --MikeSchroll 16:22, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Do we want to consider getting Private Property signs (mention of CVS employees taking smoke breaks on our property)
  • Do we want to consider getting a common grilling area for residents who are on 2nd and 3rd floors and cannot grill on their decks
  • Kitchen fumes from A.J. Culinary next door affecting residents in 31 Wheeler St.

By the way, what is our relationship (if any) to the Alewife Property Owners' Association (http://alewifeassociation.org/default.aspx). It seems like it is something we are stake holders in.

And for those that are interested, there was a planning study commissioned by the city some years ago for the Alewife Concord area, which resulted in substantial rezoning of the area. I poured over these documents as I made the decision to buy into the Reservoir Lofts. Extensive documents available at http://www.cambridgema.gov/cdd/cp/zng/concalew/index.html.

  • Residents being conscious of damage to hallways (such as bikes being transported up stairs, leaving black tire marks)

[edit] Trash Situation

Most Trash issues are resolved. We need to include recycling information (and notice that Recycling bins may be inside the trash room) to new residents, so they do not sit their recycling outside on the ground. --63.107.91.99 21:53, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
